It would be a nice addition if one could select the x-range to fit from a certain plot, instead of fitting the whole data. For instance, your experimental points reach a plateau but you just want to fit the first or last points to a linear equation when, at the same time, all the data points are plotted in the graph.

This is possible in QtiPlot.

I think this is already possible. Just open the "Options" dialog (besides "Parameter") and deselect "Auto x-Range". Now you can specify the x-range for fitting. Dies this work for you?

Yes, you're absolutely right. My mistake. I've been using it since a few days ago and completely missed the option. I'm sorry.
