Description Bence Racskó 2018-04-15 19:48:01 UTC
I have not found any option within Elisa's GUI to turn off automatic resuming of a track when I launch the music player, if I turned it off while a track way playing.

While this option can certainly be useful as an optional part of Elisa, this can cause unexpected noise at inappropriate times, hence I think it would be a useful addition to allow this feature to be toggled on and off.

Thanks for your report.
I was not convinced of the general usefulness of this feature hence the delay.
Now, there is a plan to develop a new configuration interface for Elisa. This could be a part of that.

Are you able to help landing this in a release (code, tests, other contributions) ?

Bence, than you for your report.

Even tough this was reported first, I marking it as a duplicate of the report by Nate as it has steps to reproduce and all of that.
