While song playing, XF86AudioPlay does right, but doesn't continue playing by all next key pressing.
It's not clear what you're reporting. Are you talking about the play/pause media key on many laptop keyboards? Please try to rephrase the issue in the form of Steps To Reproduce. See https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting#Steps_to_Reproduce
1. Play on something in Elisa. 2. Click on Media Player icon in systray. 3. Click on Pause button. Playing must be paused. 4. Click on Resume button many times. It gets no effect. 5. Click on Resume button in Elisa window. Playing will be resume only by second click on.
Thanks for the information!
I can confirm this as well, except that I also attempted to use the hotkey assigned to play/pause for media controller widget. I also notice that when I go back to Elisa, I have to hit the play button *twice* to get it to play again after using the media controller. If I pause it using the application's pause button, I only need to hit the play button once. Elisa 0.1.1, Manjaro, wayland.
I can confirm the same behavior by the systray player. The play button wont start the current song anymore after pausing it. Doesn't matter if it was paused by the media controls on the taskbar. Only clicking two times on Elisa player will resume the song. As a side note pausing the song on Elisa will successfully resume the song using the systray or the taskbar media controls. KDE Neon 5.13.1 Elisa 0.1.1
I can't reproduce here. Could please try latest elisa beta 1.8?
