It's a notification. it's different from akonadi agent newmailnotifier So indeed it's too different thing. You can disable it in kmail->configure->plugins
I've look there and the akonadi agent setting is the only one (which is already turned off anyway). I'll upload a screenshot soon.

When I get more information, I will post here. To my knowledge, it doesn't matter which folder it is from. The notifier works even though it is disabled, I can turn it on and off again to see what happens but I think I've done that before. If you have other ideas in the meantime, let me know.
