This is a possible duplicate of #229082 and #261648 (both are for KDE 4 version and closed) In Summary, Upcoming Events and Upcoming Special Dates, both show Birthday and Anniversaries, even when disabled from settings. I even tried: 1. Uncheck birthday and anniversary checkboxes 2. Quit kontact 3. anokadictl stop 4. Open kontact Birthday and Anniversaries still show up in both Upcoming Events and Upcoming Special Dates. I am using Kontact 5.7.3 on Archlinux

Git commit 9a73aa319ed25e75d0719667138749f93f159b55 by Glen Ditchfield, on behalf of Glen Ditchfield. Committed on 02/07/2022 at 01:02. Pushed by gditchfield into branch 'release/22.04'. Fix special dates summary configuration In the "Contact List" portion of the Kontact Summary View configuration dialog * Unchecking "Show birthdays" hid *all* special dates. * Unchecking "Show anniversaries" did nothing. In the "Calendar" portion, unchecking "Show anniversaries" hid both kinds of anniversaries. The settings for Upcoming Events and Upcoming Special Dates have been fixed in version 5.20.3 (22.04.3). In the settings for Special Dates, you can hide birthdays and anniversaries of contacts, and events tagged as birthdays and anniversaries in other calendars. In the settings for Upcoming Events, you can hide all birthdays and anniversaries.
