Description peter josvai 2018-04-10 13:11:33 UTC
it would be very nice to be able to save a copy of the project
by selecting "save a copy" -- one does not really need to argue why :)

(I do understand that there used to be a "save a copy as" option in file menu!)

thank you for your work

Why not use "save as" and rename the saved file?

well... you work on a project... and you want to keep working on it...
but you know that it is good so far...
and you want to have a copy of it so that you could get back there if you need to...

"save as" means: "save as" + close + open the previous file...

MANY applications have "save a copy" function

so, in short: Why not? because it is NOT the same..

Yes it's a good point. It's like the archive function (under porject) but without saving the clips. Only the timeline.

Marked for wishlist.
