Description Nathan Ridge 2018-04-06 01:30:16 UTC
The popup notifications that Konversation generates are not persistent: they disappear after a few seconds, and do not cause the notification count in the "Notifications" system tray icon to increment (in Plasma 5).

This means it's very easy to miss notifications about new messages and such.

I think Konversations's notifications should be made persistent; or at the very least, there should be an option to make them persistent.

To clarify what I mean by "persistent", it's the difference between:

  notify-send "Temporary notification"

versus:

  notify-send -t 0 "Persistent notification"
