Version 4.0 doesn't ship with the new reference docker. So why did you remove the old but essential reference docker?

Because it caused a LOT of crashes. Read the release announcement!

I'm rather wondering than trying to annoy somebody!
My problem is that my time is pretty short currently to read logs and announcements. As the reference dialog is essential for me. Is Qt really the best multiplatform framework out there?

My problem is that there is only one Boudewijn and hundreds of thousands of users and besides actually developing Krita, I have to read each and every bug report, and useless bug reports waste my time.

I cannot manage to communicate personally with Krita user who doesn't have time to read release announcements through bugzilla, reddit, the forum or twitter what I already clearly wrote down in the announcement. But that is precisely what you are demanding: that I give my time to you because you are short on time.

And yes, Qt is the best multiplatform framework. It's the only one that can be used realistically.

Look Boudewijn, not all users are children and have time as much as children. I try to add short reports and not useless ones as design isn't my weekend activity. If the announcements are short I actually can read then quickly.
I appreciate very much Your and all others work on Krita so Thanks very much.

Look Jo,

The announcements are short enough even for a busy adult like yourself to read. You can read the announcement in the time it takes to write one of your short reports. I would prefer it if you would actually think and research before writing those short reports because otherwise they are a waste of my time. I have to read them, interpret them, reclassify them and manage them, and that is taking way too much of my very precious time. If you're an adult, I am sure you will understand that.
