Activating the Widgets Explorer I cant write in the search text field.

1. this is happening when a click for Widget Explort, writing immediately afterwards opens KRunner instead of the search edit field
2. clicking the magnifier icon at Widgets Explorer even though it activates the search field I cant write in it, it again activates KRunner

Just to note this is also happening with Activities sidepanel

I tried in master version and this is fixed...

The problem persists on neon dev unstable.
keyboard input is not working in widgets explorer under Wayland.

Seeing it on 5.12.5. It would be nice to know which commit(s) fixed it on trunk.
