It's not exactly the same, I guess? By single paragraph I mean single line. (such as <b> or <p> in html) It has no line changing at all when I open it next time.

Not just empty lines or lines with spaces only. The whole text turns into a long single paragraph.

[Original]
"Lorem ipsum 

dolor sit amet, 

consectetur 

adipiscing elit."

[After I reopen the editor]
"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit."

[in bug 392471 I guess the result should look like-]
"Lorem ipsum 
dolor sit amet, 
consectetur 
adipiscing elit."

With krita-4.1.0-pre-alpha-b662043-x86_64.appimage, I cannot reproduce this bug. The editor seems to be able to keep text information, both after closing-and-reopening the editor and exiting-and-restarting Krita.

It is just that no matter what is inside the text editor, the result on canvas does not reflect empty lines.

Well, I don't know if this help but it doesn't happen in current official 4.0.0 build. :/

This is clearly not a duplicate issue, and still not resolved. 

It's ok for now because it's not that critical in using krita, but hopefully it will be resolved in the future.
