Hi all,

somehow i miss the option in the icon view to view the complete file name. The file name itself is always ellipsized.

Would it be possible to alow the user to "disable ellipsizing" of file names in the icon view?

Thanks and Best Regards,

Michael

Well, this is mandatory, else the GUI layout will be broken.

Try to use the list-view mode in this case instead the icon view. You can change the columns layout and especially the size of one including file name. It work like a file manager.

Other option : the propertie tab from right side bar. When you select an item, the space to display file name is larger and adjustable like you want.

Hi,

i tried the list view but it doesn't fit my needs. I like the icon view because i have a brief overview of my pictures.

Yes i know i can see the full file name from the property view, but only for the current selected file.

I understand, that it would break the layout. That's why i asked for an option that allows the user to enable the full file name - could be disabled by default.

Thanks,

BR Michael

I must respond by the negative. Ling file name will completely break the GUI layout and this is why Table view have been implemented...

Table view column width can be customized as the number of columns to show (see context menu over columns header)
