Description reptillia39 2018-03-31 04:35:23 UTC
Artboards can be essential tools for generating multi-page documents, and can aid in content creation by separation of elements by allowing another way of organizing documents. This would be useful for concept artists of all areas - Game Concept Artist, Character Concept Artist, Product Concept Artist, and so on. In addition to who would it benefit, it would indirectly benefit many other users as well.

Also, another idea pertaining to this. Artboard should be treated as a master layer group, and can be cloned inside another artboard. Furthermore, artboards should be able to be moved with all the contents on it.

You need to absolutely specify how you imagine to use this feature.

Like we had https://phabricator.kde.org/T472 as a stretchgoal on the 2016 kickstarter, but it is different from photoshop style artboards.

Its for these reasons we actually prefer wishes to start their life at the forum, so that other users can pitch in and we don't get generic 'implement this thing another program has' requests, which given that Krita's architecture doesn't even resemble Gimp's, much less any closed source software, is not useful at all.

Yes... Obligatory link: https://krita.org/en/item/ways-to-help-krita-work-on-feature-requests/ . Please read that before making more feature requests. And learn that you need to mark a report as "wish": if it's a feature request, too.
