When using the flip switch effect for alt+tab'bing through windows, the foremost windows is transparent as are the windows behind. This can make it difficult to identify the foremost window as its contents blend with the other windows. An option to make the foremost window opaque or change the transparency would be helpful This of course doesn't cause instabilities but I think it reduces the usefulness of the flip switch effect considerably
Confirming with a vengeance. The whole point of this kind of UI is that you select the item (a window, an image, whatever) by identifying it visually among other options. The representation for the purpose of selecting should therefore be as visually similar to the true appearance as possible.
This issue report is quite old. Can you please confirm, that it still persists with KDE 5.23?

It seems the flip switch effect has recently been removed so the bug is irrelevant now
