When opening the "About Falkon" menu, you see these lines:

QupZilla-Version: 3.0.0
QtWebEngine-Version 5.10.0

Falkon 3.0.0-1.1
openSUSE Tumbleweed 20180320

There is no such string, it is (notice no slashes and no uppercase v):

Application version 3.0.99
QtWebEngine version 5.10.1

Do you perhaps have it translated? In that case it could be still showing QupZilla as translations were imported from QupZilla.

Yes, I am using the German translation.

In that case the issue must be in German translation.

Any reason why it's "Application version" and not "Falkon version" now?

Falkon 3.0.1 now shows "Anwendungsversion: 3.0.1" in the about dialog (Application Version), so this is fixed.
