I don't know the reason but, sometimes KDE Plasma will crash when I do a mouseover on chrome tab (in the tab menu at top). After crash I sometimes get SDDM screen and sometimes it stays black screens with few white squares on top left

Is this with this extension installed? I don't think this is related. Are you on Wayland?

Yes I am on wayland, I also have same installation on laptop but it never happened.
Maybe it is because of a gpu driver? I have RX 580 gpu

Please provide a backtrace for the KWin crash. Without we cannot investigate.
