- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I just type "exit" in konsole. Most of the time I get a crash message. konsole is just supposed to close.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

konsole (16.04.3) using Qt 5.6.1

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I was trying to use vim to edit a file. Konsole was behaving unusually. When I scrolled down in the vim, the konsole tab was showing garbage text. Scrolling up or down did not reflect the text from the file I was editing but instread the tab was showing garbage text
