installing in ubuntu 17.10 from PPA
Could not open icon resource file breeze-icons.rcc
(I installed it with synaptic)
and ne icon was given for the gnome menu

Current workaround for breeze-icons.rcc: install breeze-icons.rcc file (probably some breeze-icons package).

Current workaround for app icon: install breeze icons package which contains kexi icon or pick kexi icon by hand from source package (https://community.kde.org/Kexi/Releases#3.1.0) e.g. http://download.kde.org/stable/kexi/src/kexi-3.1.0.tar.xz.mirrorlist.

App icons fixed, see Bug #351498.
