Trojan:Win32/Azden.B!cl desktop shortcut icon dissapeared can't run program
Please provide some useful information. What version of Windows, and is it up to date? What version of KMyMoney? Where did you get the KMyMoney install file? How long ago did you install it? When you say "can't run" is that just because you miss the icon, or do you get some error when you double click the .exe file? What tells you that the trojan is present?

kmymoney-x86_64-w64-mingw32-4.8.1.1-2.1-2.1-setup.exe Above is the file I downloaded on 2018-01-16 3:44pm
Will there be any further investigation on this Trojan? Should I uninstall version 4.8.1.1 and then install version 5? Please advise what to do next. Thanks Rod
It is unlikely that there really is any trojan - it is most likely a false positive, especially if you downloaded the installer from kmymoney.org. If that is the case, you need to tell Windows Defender to ignore KMyMoney. You could try downloading the installer again, and you can try scanning it with some other anti-virus. Have you followed the steps Brendan suggested in his response to your message to the mailing list? They provide a good path forward. For now, if you can't successfully run 4.8.1 on your PC, I would probably not install 5.0, but wait for 5.0.1, which is now released for linux (it may take some time to be packaged for distributions) and should also be available for Windows in the near future (there have been some issues with the packaging, but they are being resolved.)

Rod - we DO need more information to be able to respond. (If you mean you don't need any more help, you can close the bug yourself. Unfortunately, there is a delay in releasing 5.0.2, which should include a Windows installer, so the version you have is still the latest for Windows. Have you tried reinstalling or checking with a different anti-virus, as suggested in Comment 7?
I reinstalled your latest version and everything is working fine. Thank you.
