When I'm disabling compositor, everything seems to be fine, but after reboot the launch feedback doesn't work, even though it's enabled in options (doesn't matter if it's bouncy icon, passive, whatever). Changing any option in compositor tab, like animation speed for example, brings it back, but only until next reboot. With compositing turned on it works properly.
After reboot is compositing enabled or disabled?
Disabled.
The cursor animation is only available with enabled OpenGL compositor.
I understand, the animation may not work, but KWin could just change the cursor like every other window manager does.

I wasn't trying to be mean, I'm just doing my duty as a user and a fan of KDE. Launch feedback should work regardless of compositing, because it doesn't need it, since every cursor theme has a busy cursor already. You don't need to be rude, I just want to help.
There won't be a non composited launch feedback. This doesn't make any sense any more from a development perspective. Please do not reopen again.
