Are you sure you haven't enabled canvas mirroring?

I would see one image in the viewport but when I look at the layout preview, everything is mirrored horizontally. I have not touched canvas mirroring option at all for this file. The only time I did was so I can save it in my desired orientation. Yes, I saw your screenshot and the only way that can happen is if you have mirrored the canvas.

Did some googling and found out the hotkey to mirror canvas is M and I must have hit it on accident but mirrored image, not canvas. My apologies for the false bug report. Thank you nonetheless!
