Using KDE Neon LTS, latest version of Falkon available in those repos. (3.0.0) When zooming in/out of a website, it is not remembered upon opening a new tab and going to the same website again. This is a behavior that is shared accross pretty much all web browsers.
And I personally hate such behaviour of chromium. If this would be added to Falkon, please make it configurable. Or even better to add manual default zoom per site settings and keep zooming per tab, not per site.
Same here. Its tottally annoying! Debian Unstable EXWM window manager falkon 3.0.0

A workaround is provided here: https://github.com/QupZilla/qupzilla/issues/2553#issuecomment-357995037
(In reply to Mykola Krachkovsky from comment #3) > It's not clear what is exactly annoying. It is annoying to adjust the zoom every time a web page from a certain site is opened in a new tab. Sure, sometimes you want a different zoom only temporarily and in this case it is annoying to revert the remembered zoom level. But there is a reason that Chromium remembers the zoom level: most people are probably more annoyed by the first scenario. As a solution to this dilemma there could be two different sets of keyboard shortcuts, for instance Ctrl+± for remembered zoom levels and Ctrl+Shift+± for temporary zoom levels.

IMHO, better to keep Ctrl+± as "per tab" (temporary) zoom control and add "per site" (persistent) default zoom to site settings.
(In reply to Mykola Krachkovsky from comment #6) > IMHO, better to keep Ctrl+± as "per tab" (temporary) Nah, it's better to be consistent with other browsers and the needs of the majority[citation needed]. Of course there is also an obvious solution to this disagreement: make the keyboard shortcuts configurable as it is common in KDE applications.
(In reply to Theo from comment #7) > Nah, it's better to be consistent with other browsers and the needs of the > majority[citation needed]. My reason: "temporary" zoom change is more frequent operation, while setting site zoom is usually single for a long time. > Of course there is also an obvious solution to > this disagreement: make the keyboard shortcuts configurable as it is common > in KDE applications. True.
Hello, I made an extension to do something similar. You can save the zoom level for selected sites. https://www.pling.com/p/1305674/

I also recommend to remember zoom level for websites, just as other browsers do.
