Description Mark Hunter 2018-03-03 13:05:41 UTC
I have found a bug, at least it appears to be, when I enter a different Payee in it used to ask me if I want to add the Payee and now when I reply Yes it blanks out the payee, so I tried No and that did the same thing.

Since I am at it, I do not see any options for changing the way the Date looks, I want it to be mm/dd/yyyy. It used to have an option to change that under settings.

Also, since I am at it, on the old version the fill in list would build as I type the payee, and then I could choose the one that I want, and it would come up with a list of old transactions that I could fill in and edit if needed.

Overall, I am not too impressed with the new version, which i had to set the file to open to start (I think it should pick up previous settings for an Upgrade, this was almost like a brand new never used it before).

Thanks for the report. Most of the things have been reported before and have received fixes in the meantime. The resp. numbers here on b.k.o are 390232, 390264 and 391048.

Regarding the settings it has been decided to take them out. Please use the KDE tools that configure your desktop. Change the date to your locale. There was a report about the position of the currency symbol position that was wrong for certain locales. That is also corrected.

I agree with you on the quality side. Testing efforts this time were at a bare minimum due to time constraints. 5.0.1 included the fixes is in the works.

Ok thanks. Kind of a strange process to me but hopefully the updated
version will have the fixes in. As of right now the old version worked
much better and I have been using that for many years now.
