My audio card has 3 different outputs so you can choice which one to use.
After updating to Plasma 5.12 I noticed that audio card output selection has been removed from
right clic on volume icon -> audio volume settings -> audio volume -> etc.
so the only way to reach it is to go through
system settings -> multimedia -> audio and video -> audio hardware configuration (see screenshot)

Being able to select audio output from volume icon was much faster. Is it possible to resume such settings?

Thank you

Hello?
Comment 5 David Rosca 2018-07-21 11:20:01 UTC
That feature never was in plasma-pa, but in KMix, which you can still use if you want.

David, it is not true and to prove that plasma-pa used to have such option, I started an old Fedora 27 KDE live image and recorded the following video, that shows also that the default system uses plasma-pa and KMix is not even installed

Sorry, you are right, I thought you meant something else.
Well, this still should be there. Can you please check that you have port selection combobox available in pavucontrol?

I installed pavucontrol and I confirm that output selection is available (see screenshot if it is the one you meant)

That looks correct. Can you please upload output when running "kcmshell5 kcm_pulseaudio" in terminal?
