Created attachment 110972 [details] Illustration of the problem With the combination of powerline and zsh (not sure whether other things are related), when performing auto-completion, a duplicated text will be rendered (but it doesn't actually exist for that command line), causing the whole line mis-match (i.e. the text under the cursor is one character sibling to the correct text). The attachment shown an illustration of this problem. The only action performed between the two segments is: hit the "tab" key to trigger auto-completion. I have tested that this problem won't happen if I'm using bash with powerline or I'm using zsh without powerline; it also won't happen if I'm using other terminal emulators (e.g. Terminator, (u)xterm) with zsh and powerline. As a result, this seems because of some special thing generated by powerline not correctly handled by konsole. If needed, my zsh config is https://github.com/renyuneyun/myconf/blob/master/home/.zshrc . The `.shrc` is simply many aliases and (non-related) environment variables.
I can't replicate with current konsole/zsh/powerline and your config. Can you please retest and confirm if the issue persists, thanks.
