Description Scott Harvey 2018-02-23 17:32:10 UTC
It would be handy if Spectacle had an option to remain running after discarding a bad snapshot. Sometimes, you don't get the shot you want, so you hit "Discard". Spectacle closes, back to your launcher, reopen Spectacle, try again for screenshot... just a wishlist item.

In fact, we have removed the discard button entirely for 18.04. There is no need for it at all; if you have a bad screenshot, just take another one using the "Take New Screenshot" button and the current screenshot will be automatically replaced with the new one.

Bummer. I was going to try and modify it myself. Oh well. A toast to 18.04 then!

Once I collect all the sources and get it compiled, I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the to-do list! :)

In case you haven't seen it already, here is our documentation for that: https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/development

I'm familiar with it. I even have a Phabricator account and one completed patch under my belt. I may be new around here, but I'm hooked.

Wonderful. :)
