Description Pete Theisen 2018-02-20 17:24:33 UTC
The speaker) and speaker))) buttons controlled the volume until yesterdays "update". Now they don't work. This is vital while news reading because different websites have widely varying volume settings. You have to find the on-screen control and use it which is a long time of silence or ear-shattering loudness. It is seldom just right from site to site.

Sorry for the breakage! Already fixed in Plasma 5.12.2 though.

That patch (and initial breakage) didnt' touch volume controls.

What was yesterdays "update" in terms of Plasma version numbers.

Do other global shortcuts work?

Which Plasma version? It could be a duplicate of bug 390161.
