Description Pyroman 2018-02-16 21:33:46 UTC
It would be better if Neon packages installed in it's own directory, /opt/neon for example. Current installation breaks some dependencies and doesn't allow installing some qt apps from Ubuntu repos.
Installing Neon to it's own independent directory would allow to persist two Qt libs versions at same time (one from Ubuntu repos and one from Neon repos).

This is not a trivial change that would require a re-think of quite a few things. Please bring it up on the neon mailing list, as anything to this effect would have to start with a significant discussion.
