Description Cyril 2018-02-16 09:28:07 UTC
Kdenlive 17.12.1
MLT 6.6.0

I create several projects with proxy clips. Then I create a final project in which I load the previous projects.
When I render it, it uses the proxy clips instead of the original clips.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1- Create a project A
2- Load clips, and activate proxy
3- Put clips on timeline
4- Create a project B
5- Load clips, and activate proxy
6- Put clips on timeline
7- Create a project C
8- Load clips, and activate proxy
9- Put clips on timeline
10- Create a project Final
11- Load projects A, B and C
12- Put projects on timeline
13- Render
14- Play back the rendered video

Actual Results:
The output has been rendered using the proxy clips

Expected Results:
The output must be rendered using the original clips

I have to un-proxy the clips for the original clips to actually be used in the Final render.

Please try with the actual Kdenlive AppImage version 18.08.3
Run the Appimage from the terminal (press CTRL + ALT + T). Move to the AppImage folder and run the .AppImage: ./Kdenlive*.AppImage

Question: How do you load several projects into 1? By library function?

I use "Add clip"

It seems that this report is related to very old unmaintained version. A lot changed since then, especially the timeline got a complete rewrite and it is likely that this has been fixed.

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 20.12.2 https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/20.12/linux/
