QT Version: 5.10.0
Distro: Manjaro KDE Edition (17.1.4)
Kernel Version: 4.14.16-1-Manjaro

Info: When using applications (e.g. VLC, VirtualBox) menu to browse files and selecting the "Samba Shares" folder the application crashes after about 1 second. This happens on my desktop and notebook as well.

Steps to reproduce, example in VLC:

4. Select "Samba Shares"
--> Application crashes.

Does this also happen with KDE applications, such as KWrite? If yes, please add a backtrace for the crash.

Does this issue still happen? I tested with kwrite and I got no crashes (note that I don't have any samba shares).
Comment 6 Unknown 2020-05-26 17:43:16 UTC
Sorry, but after all this time I am neither using KDE nor Samba anymore. I also do not have the time to run a test setup. Just mark this as closed.

No problem, thanks for taking the time to post here anyway.
Comment 8 Unknown 2020-05-26 17:48:18 UTC
There is something you could help me with, though. Is there a way to delete my bugs.kde.org account since I won't be needing it anymore and like to see it gone.
Comment 9 Christoph Feck 2020-05-26 23:50:59 UTC
To request bugs.kde.org account deletion, please report a ticket to the "bugs.kde.org" product.
