Such festive music! But sorry, I don't see the issue. Are the icons in the tooltips not the same size or something? What are you expecting to see?
Comment 2 RaitaroH 2018-02-15 06:16:14 UTC
I am talking about the black rectangle that appears when hovering the icon. It has the icon's name in it. The thing is as you can see sometimes it has a lot of extra padding to the right, sometimes it doesn't, even for the same entry.

Is not a big deal is actually a very minor issue.

Oh, in case you care the music is Yuru Camp's OP:

I did a fix for a similar problem in plasmashell for the default tooltip: https://cgit.kde.org/plasma-framework.git/commit/?id=f31e7860d98f3c66888f1102a7cf3c47f31e2a59

I suspect it's a similar cause in task manager

Nice.

Also inconsistent tooltip padding between panel widgets icons (added with right click on app in App menu -> Add to Panel (Widget)) and pinned app (right click on panel task of the app -> Pin) in Icons-only task manager of the same app

This was fixed recently.
