Description David 2018-02-14 08:01:04 UTC
On a fresh KDE install, KWallet seems like a very annoying piece of software until one realizes that it can be set not to ask for a password.

I'm really wondering why would an application that is supposed to REMEMBER my password have to ASK for my password each time it's used. It defies the purpose and probably scares new users away.

The primary purpose is not to remember, but to encrypt all of them with a single password (you shouldn't use the same password on different sites).

We cannot disable the encryption by default.
