Description farmboy0 2018-02-13 19:55:11 UTC
KMix version: 4.6
Plasma 5.12.0

I have window placement set as centered.
For Kmix this also displays the popup menus that show when clicking the systray icon both for left and right click as centered.

This seems to be the only systray icon showing this behaviour.

I would expect both of these windows shown at the top of the systray.

Only for KMix, or for every app?

Can you attach a screenshot showing the problem?
Comment 2 farmboy0 2018-02-13 23:27:15 UTC
As I already said only KMix popups show this behaviour.

And no I cant do a screenshot of *popup* windows.
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2018-02-14 02:58:31 UTC
Actually, you can! Use Spectacle's timed screenshot feature. Set a timer and use that time to open the pop-up.
Comment 4 farmboy0 2018-02-14 20:47:16 UTC
No I cant.
I need to click on wayland in order to take the shot and when the click cursor pops up the KMix popup will go away.
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2018-02-14 20:51:03 UTC
How about using the timer and a full-screen screenshot?

Under wayland application are not allowed to just read the screen or content of other windows. That is why you *always* need a click with wayland to take a screenshot.

I took a photo with my phone instead.

I can reproduce with latest Plasma version 5.17.
Except on my system, the kmix popup is located on the top left corner of the screen.

Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.80
