I have a remotely monitored machine in my ksysguard tabs. I do not use this tab often, since the machine is often off. However, when I start ksysguard, it prompts for the SSH password to that machine... over and over again. There is no other way to stop it from prompting other than removing the tab completely. Ksysguard should ignore remote tabs after a couple unsuccessful login attempts, it should not continue bugging the user.
Can you reproduce this issue with the current version of ksysguard? Also take a look at the docs, page 11 of the pdf there is a section about ssh connections, maybe this can resolve your issue. https://docs.kde.org/index.php?application=ksysguard
