Description Tony 2018-02-11 10:49:01 UTC
I have an Acer netbook with 32GB SSD. I wish to use a USB flash drive to save projects and avoid filling the SSD. Kdenlive doesn't see the USB drive for saving projects. Is there a solution?

I am able to import video from the USB drive to Kdenlive, so it must be able to see the USB.

Ubuntu "Files" can see the USB drive.

Openshot can see the flash drive and save projects to it.

Version is 15.12.3

Please try with the actual Kdenlive AppImage version 18.08.3
Run the Appimage from the terminal (press CTRL + ALT + T). Move to the AppImage folder and run the .AppImage: ./Kdenlive*.AppImage
Should be fixed with Kdenlive version 16.12

Please test with latest version (18.12.*)
Maybe also try to access your flash drive with another KDE program (Dolphin file explorer for example)
