Description David 2018-02-08 20:13:03 UTC
On a folder with many photo files, when dolphin is showing files previews, if I sort the folder by some criteria, dolphin doesn't show the previews anymore until the folder is reloaded, or until the view is changed to something else and back to preview.

Quick question: how many picture files were in the folder? I notice the bug doesn't happen when there are only a few and they fit without scrolling, but rather, only when there are hundreds or thousands.

Also cannot reproduce with a directory containing 1058 images using Dolphin 17.12.3 on Kubuntu 17.10 or from git master in KDE Neon dev unstable. Please re-open the bug if you can still reproduce this issue with the upcoming 18.04 release and a more up-to-date set of KDE Frameworks (i.e. Frameworks 5.44 or later)
