assigned alt+tab to cycle through different keyboard layouts. the problem is that it works only once and than pressing alt+tab again doesn't cycle through the different layouts. I notice the same behaviour when I reassign the alt+tab to any other shortcut to switch between the open windows. It only triggers the shortcut once and any additional presses of the keys doesn't cycle through the open windows.
Are you using Wayland?

KWin is not responsible for layout switching on X11
Created attachment 110380 [details] attachment-11876-0.html the problem is the shortcut handling. it behaves the same when I assigns ctrl+tab for walk open windows. I created a new user and it works fine under the new user so it seems to be some missconfiguration. Can you point to the right place to audit the logs for some clues. If I assign ctrl+meta it works as expected so it is only for certain key combinations.
How do you set layout switch to Ctrl+Meta and Ctrl+Tab?
