Hi

I am running plasmashell 5.12.0
Laptop does not suspend when lid is closed. Pressing the power button, or suspend from the logout screen does work however.

Did you configure it to suspend when you close the lid in powermanagement settings? (should be the default, though)

Yes I did
For information, pressing the power button (also set to suspend) does not work either.

I read it might be a kernel bug - but for information I am on 4.4.0-112-generic

Can you check whether other buttons like power key are also affected? If so, this is a known bug.

Yes, for example, pressing the power button has no effect

Can you confirm the Plasma 5.12.2 update resolved this issue?

No response; assuming it is fixed.
