Konqueror now only shows empty pages when using the WebKit backend. I have the latest kwebkitpart from git installed, plus QtWebKit 5.212 Alpha2. QtWebKit itself works fine when used with Otter-Browser. This may in fact be a loading failure; for instance, the document source for www.kde.org shows as ``` <html><head></head><body></body></html> ```

Odd, works here, using openSUSE Krypton (which uses KDE software from master branches).
Weird indeed. I presume Krypton also has the "rebooted" WebKit 5.212, not the obsolete community release from Qt?
Oh yes, it has. The old QtWebKit is long unmaintained.
FWIW it works fine on Mac too (I'm using it to post this message ...)
