Description Mircea Kitsune 2018-02-02 23:08:30 UTC
When inline renaming is enabled and you rename a file or directory, Dolphin waits for roughly one second (potentially as it refreshes the contents of the current directory) then moves your selection back to the item you just renamed.

This is a big annoyance, because if during this one second you use the arrow keys to focus on another item you're taken back to the one you renamed and have to start moving the selection all over again. Further more, if during this one second you attempt to rename another item, the name seems to be applied to the wrong file as well which is a potential danger.

Fix is already in dolphin master, will be in the next Dolphin release.
