Description David henry 2018-02-01 20:36:33 UTC
KMail Server-side subscription works on my old Fedora 24 laptop, does not seem to work on my new Fedora 27 laptop. This gives much slower access to new emails on the F27 system. I think I'm connecting to gmail with OAUTH2. Here is my best guess on relevant version numbers. Please let me know what other information is helpful or if I should take this up with my distro maintainers.

akonadi-1.13.0-107.fc27.x86_64
kdepimlibs-akonadi-4.14.10-22.fc27.x86_64
kmail-17.12.1-1.fc27.x86_64

If I run akonadictl stop and start in a terminal I get this additional output from the F27 system:
"""
Connecting to deprecated signal QDBusConnectionInterface::serviceOwnerChanged(QString,QString,QString)
org.kde.pim.akonadicontrol: Executable "akonadi_knut_resource" for agent "akonadi_knut_resource" could not be found!

"No file selected."

And then this message when I open the Serverside subscription dialog in KMail on the F27 system
""".

"""

Thank you!!
