Photo with a face. Add a people tag on the face with a rectangle in DigiCam and save the tag on the picture. Quit digicam. Edit the size of the image with some other tool. Open image with digicam. There is now 2 people tags with 2 frames.

Can you reproduce the dysfunction with 5.9.0 pre-release AppImage Linux bundle. Some work have been done recently about this topic.

This bug is invalid for digiKam. The other tool used must adjust the facial regions. For digiKam and its image editor, this is planned for digiKam-6.0.0.
