My trouble

Hi. Thanks for your work first of all. I am a junior at Linux. I had installed a Krusader. That is a super program. But I have a little problem. When I do double click on any file *.jpg or *.jpeg Krusader opens it by program Shutter. I had tried to change programms` order (look at attachment) and remove Shutter from applications` list to open images. Nothing helped. When I open again Krusader and to do any image - Shutter opens it. How can I set XViewer a default viewer? Thunar open images as I want.Thanks. Alex
I`d read Bug ID 218735, 258289,354179 - nothing helped

P.S. dear friens, sorry for my question. I`d download krusader-2.6.0.tar.xz. I want to install it. I could not do it. I input:
$ cd krusader
$ mkdir -v build && cd build
$ cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/ ..
$ make
# At the beginning of the following command: `sudo` must be added if Kubuntu, Ubuntu, Debian, or similar is being used.
$ su -c "make install"
but I have nothing.
Thanks. I was a Windows` user a lot of years

Let's figure out what's wrong with your build of v2.6.0.

Does make finish successfully? If so, can you run ./krusader/krusader in your build directory?
BTW, which distribution do you use? Don't they provide a package for v2.6.0 you can simply install?

Thanks a lot first of all.
My Linux Mint provides a stable version of krusader.
But it is older than I can get at Krusader site.
I`ll try that you reccomend me.
Thanks

Alex, any success with comment #1? If you still have issues building Krusader, I suggest to post detailed error message in a KDE-related developer forum, mailing list, or freenode IRC channel.

Guys, thanks a lot, first of all. Right now I have tough time at my work (I work like a dog) and I planned to return to Krusader later. When I try my report will be here.
Best regards.
Alex

I love dogs, but please do not get burned out by working liking one :) Maybe you find some time around the Easter days.
