Since the update to 17.12.1 in KDE Neon, the buttons to show/hide side panels do not work, and the elements are always visible/hidden. The only option to change this is to use the "Move to" option in the context menu. No crash logs were found, and the editor component works as usual.

This bug is fixed in KWidgetAddons 5.42.1
