Kate Terminal Plugins throws a "Warning: Program '/bin/bash' crashed." since
17.12.1
Checked all bash config files.
Warning could mean bash infinite recursion.
Downgrading to 17.12.0 (without downgrading deps) helped

I can confirm this bug.

Downgrading kate package from version 17.12.1-1 to 17.12.0-1 fixes the problem.
