I filter the folder tree where e.g. my inbox (which I have defined as favorite) is no longer shown.
I select one folder shown in the folder tree and see the messages inside it -> OK

I click on the inbox favorite -> no mails are shown -> Not OK

Only when I clear the folder filter and select the favorite again I can see the messages inside the selected favorite folder

Thank you for reporting this issue in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version?

still the same Version 5.21.3 (22.08.3)
