Can see the tearing in kickoff.

When I scroll applications with the mouse wheel (e.g. during a search) the scroll is extremely slow and I can see the top of the letters tear. I understand it could have something to do with libinput. Any other info just ask.

Yes it's something to do with QtXCB and libinput both being too smart for their own good. (that also is what gets the y between pixels which is your "tearing".)
