Description Achim Bohnet 2018-01-05 12:01:22 UTC
Every program is the active window when started. Same from programs running invisible in the background (like telegram, owncloud, kdeconnect ...)

BUG: kleopatra is not the active window when started via
     system-tray 'Status & Notifications'

Works as expected: When shown via command line or krunner, kleopatra is the active window.

As I see v3.1.11 works as expected:
 - it's active window when started via command or menu
 - on logout/login hide/show status is restored according to saved KDE session

Thx. Great to read that it will be fixed! Will 3.1.11 be part of KDE Apps 20.04?

I've tried again with kleopatra 3.1.8 (19.12.3) and bug is-not-active-window-when-started-from-systray is still true.
Comment 3 Alexander Lohnau 2020-07-10 12:41:26 UTC
Huh, I colud reproduce this on v3.1.11.

Maybe you just have to click inside of the other window to reproduce.
If I have the window open and close it using the system tray and then open it using the system tray it is shown on top. But not if clicking inside of another window after closing it.
