I have watch on Android Wear 2 (Simply Android 7.1.1 for small screens) and enjoyed the Kde Connect App before on other devices. But I can't install it from Play Market on my watch. Please, recompile the app for Android Wear, I believe, that it is pretty simple with current interface.
Android Wear has never been supported.
(In reply to Aleix Pol from comment #1) > Android Wear has never been supported. I know, that it is not yet supported. Thats why it is marked "[Feature request]". I was able to install app to watch via adb. It runs successfull but with limitations. I can control music on computer via buttons on watch. But they are at bottom of the screen, they should be a little smaller and rounder in this edition. It is pretty cool to control music on computer via watch. "Send files" doesn't work, coz there is not preinstalled apk in minimal installation that can handle this action. It is very usefull option due to connection limitations. The main problem is that when the screen goes black (after 10-15 seconds), it is necesarry to open menu and choose kde connect. For example Google app for controlling music on the phone is always available in the system shade. Nowatime the number of owners of such devices is growing rapidly. And there is still lack of good apps in market. So, I'm pretty sure, that releasing such version is very good possibility to draw attention of many people also to the phone version and the kde project as a whole.
To support Android Wear we should make a dedicated companion app that connects to the app on your phone, not port the main app. I'm not really interested in developing such an app though, since I don't use Android Wear myself. Contributions welcome :)
It does work for me on Huawei Watch 2! Just download the APK from https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.kde.kdeconnect_tp/ and install it using `adb install`. Most of the stuff works, except for notification sync from watch to PC (but it doesn't work for a good reason - Android Wear simply doesn't allow apps to read other app's notifications. Also it doesn't allow filesystem access, and I haven't quite figured out why. There are some rough edges, sure, but all other features mostly just work. I'll create some issues about the "rough edges".
It even stops the music when I get a call and everything! This is amazing!
