When I paint I need to pan very often to "refresh" the shortcut for the color picker. If I miss to pan, the shortcut for the color picker simply doesn't work. I mapped the color picket on "cmd" or command (mapped on one of my tablet buttons). Panning is mapped on my pen (mouse middle button - pen canvas-canvas input) There's more. Whenever I paint in this way, the workload of my machine goes up - panning painting panning painting. And I paint just a simple some lines. Instead painting an area with strokes at full speed doesn't influence performance - everything works normal.
Because of what I wrote in paragraph 2 in my previous post, I downgraded to 3.1.1 Right now I need Krita and cannot experiment with a pre- alpha of v. 4. too dangerous if I lose my work. I really really hope version 4 is usable else I've to stick with 3.1.1. My macpro is powerful but I can't install Sierra or higher on it. In v. 3.1.1 everything runs smoothly as I paint and ...get no loud noise. I want not to break my machine because of 3.3.1 and it's _Serious performance problems_ with Mac os 10.11

We don't have that many OSX testers -- that's to say, we have just about none who regularly give feedback.

Please don't add two separate issues in one bug report. It will lead to cluttering this bug report and also your other problem getting ignored.
I'm sorry, but this report is too much a confused meddle-together of various things. We can only work on reports that are about one issue and one issue only and that can be reproduced using a set of clear steps.
