Steps:
1. select pixels with 'rectangular selection tool'
2. Copy selection with 'copy merged'
3. The 'line tool' is triggered automatically and impossible to deactivate. 
4. draw a short line to get rid of the line tool 
5. Now I can select again another tool

I cannot reproduce this on KDE Neon based on Ubuntu 16.04, I guess this is an OS X specific issue.

This bug happens just with my tablet - 
no problems with my keyboard and mouse. 
(I use a wacom intuos pen & touch)

I cannot reproduce this with 4.0 beta 1 or 3.3.3 on macOS with a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet.

This bug doesn't bother anymore in version 4 beta :)

I'm looking forward for a working open gl implementation as the work around isn't effective enough. Don't like to hear my Mac like a racing car if my brush keeps painting all time.
